  6. HWUpdate is a quick-and-dirty utility I wrote to compensate for a major
  7. oversight on the part of CNet/3's programming team.  Because of a
  8. severely  silly  error in CNet's IUUNEWS program, the highwater marks of
  9. any UUCP areas with message numbers over 2^15 were screwed up everytime
  10. IUUNEWS was run.
  11.  
  12. So, this program reads in your UUCP/NNTP "ACTIVE" file, and just updates
  13. CNet's hiwater marks.
